Clark Dickerson, Ed.D.
President

A 1967 graduate of Wabash College, Clark also has a Master’s degree from Indiana State University and a doctorate from Indiana University. With 33 years of experience in fund raising and 24 years as a fund-raising stewardship consultant, Clark has personally provided counsel for over 250 capital campaigns. A former college vice-president and missionary to Eastern Europe, Clark is a frequent speaker at numerous national conferences and has written manuals and produced CD’s on a variety of development topics. He is a recipient of the Robert O. Fraley award for a Lifetime of Innovative Development Service to Christian Development Officers. He resides in Littleton, Colorado.

Dale Armstrong

Dale graduated from Lipscomb University with a communications degree in 1986. For nine years, he pursued a career in professional golf which allowed him to play throughout the world. Dale then returned to minister at the Christian high school he attended that had closed. Dale, as Director of Development, was a part of the team that revived the school. Dale has served in sales positions and started Armstrong Enterprises. Dale leads the sales division for Dickerson & Associates and consults in the areas of leadership development and capital campaigns. Dale continues to serve as the minister of a church and resides in Valdosta, Georgia.

Mindy Seyferth
Vice President of Marketing
Literature and Video Consultant

A 1997 graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism, Mindy has been a member of the Dickerson & Associates team since graduation. In addition to a time limited role in consulting, Mindy is responsible for the writing and layout of all client development literature. She also writes the scripts for and produces all client video and DVD programs that relate to their partnership with Dickerson & Associates. In addition, she performs the lead work for campaign feasibility studies. A mother of two, Mindy resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Larry Green
Director of Student Recruitment Ministries
Development Consultant

A 1969 graduate of Johnson Bible College, Larry held ministries in Louisiana and Kentucky prior to joining the staff of Christ In Youth. He was the Director of Admissions of Johnson Bible College for eighteen years; served with Christian investment and lending organization; co-founded a Christian consulting group; and is on the Board of Directors of an organization that provides scholarships to attend Christian colleges. Larry leads the student recruitment division for Dickerson & Associates as well as providing counsel in capital campaigns and annual fund ministry. An expert in wood carving, Larry has written six books on the subject. He resides in Washington, Indiana.

Gary Taylor
Development Consultant

After service in the Air Force as an air traffic controller, Gary graduated from Memphis State University in 1973 where he lettered in baseball. Gary held senior minister positions in Tennessee, Arkansas and Georgia for over twenty-six years. He served on the Board of Directors of a European mission organization for 20 years. With Dickerson & Associates, Gary has led numerous churches, camps, schools, colleges and other organizations in successful capital campaigns and general fund development programs. A baseball historian, Gary resides in Seymour, Tennessee.

Ed Tolsma
Development Consultant

After attending Cornerstone University, Ed was involved in retail management for thirteen years. Using the skills gained in his management positions, Ed then served as Vice President for Development for John Guest Evangelistic Team and Vice President for Advancement for International Aid. Both organizations provided him international ministry opportunities. In 1997, Ed began consulting with Christian ministries. As a member of the Dickerson & Associates team, he ministers in the areas of capital campaigns, strategic planning and annual fund advancement. Ed enjoys hunting and resides in Hudsonville, Michigan.

Bill Keesling
Development Consultant
 
A 1962 graduate of Mississippi College with a BS in Accounting, Bill worked for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Cost Accountant and was a 2nd Lt. in the Air Force.  He earned a masters degree at the University of Tennessee in 1972.  Bill coached at Furman University, Missouri State University and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  He served in development at Furman, and has had extensive fund-raising experience in college/university athletic programs; human services; Christian schools and not-for-profit organizations.  He and Nancy enjoy traveling in their motor home, snow skiing in the western U.S. and watching U. of Tennessee football and basketball.

Rich Peil
Development Consultant

A 1990 Graduate of Bethel University in St. Paul Minnesota with a BA in Cultural Anthropology with an emphasis on organization structural analysis, Rich has been working in vocational ministry for over 22 years. His past work experiences have taken him to over 38 countries and include 8+ years in pastoral ministry and 14 in executive leadership in missions. Rich has seen first hand the benefits of professional development consulting in his own ministry, and is passionate in helping churches, schools and other non-profits to fund their vision! Rich speaks both nationally and internationally, specializing in Authentic Leadership, Strategic Planning and Conflict Resolution. He lives in a suburb of Minneapolis with his wife Nicole and three sons Josh, John and James, where they are active members of a thriving church. They enjoy many activities together as a family, particularly boating, jet skiing, dirt bikes and really anything with a engine!

Debbie DiVirgilio
Foundation Research and Grant Writing

Ms. DiVirgilio has more than 15 years experience in the non-profit sector where she has been successful in obtaining foundation, state, and federal grant funding. She has served as a federal grant reviewer, and she has experience in program development as well as a background in program evaluation. Debbie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral sciences from Wilmington College and a Masters Degree in non-profit management from Regis University. She is well versed in helping Christian ministries find funding for their projects.

Sue Unger
Consultant

Sue has been active in the Lord’s work for years including serving on the mission field in Africa and Austria.  While always assisting her husband in ministering with churches in Indiana and California, for fifteen years Sue held the position of Regional Sales Manager for Prudential California Realty in Modesto, California.  She has now re-established her relationship with Dickerson & Associates as a Development Consultant – one she began in 1985.  Sue is a motivational speaker and is past president of Soroptimist International, a women’s service organization.  She and her husband, Wayne, currently serve a church in Vincennes, Indiana.
